Simply College™ program was founded by Charlene Haykel, a consultant and acknowledged expert in the field of simplified communications and Renee Boltri, a specialist in higher education student programming.
Charlene Haykel
Charlene Haykel is a strategic analyst with 39 years experience in information analysis and corporate communications. As president of The Haykel Group (www.haykelgroup.com .) and a principal of two former agencies, she has focused on the problem of complex communications since 1988 and has spoken and consulted on the principles and processes of simplified communications and on issues of transparency in investor communications for a host of major US corporations and policy forums including Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Bank, AIG/SunAmerica, The Conference Board and The Investment Company Institute.
With an MA in journalism from the University of North Carolina, an early teaching career in the South and a Washington experience with the Federal Government in housing and poverty agencies and later with the State of New York’s Higher Education Division, Ms. Haykel founded Simply College to clarify and give direction to what she sees as an increasingly confusing, complex and burdensome fund-raising process for families in need of college aid.
Renee Boltri
Renee Boltri, Vice President of Simply College, is an educator with 17 years’ experience creating and administering programs and services for elementary, secondary and higher education.
