The competition involved in Fulbright Scholarship is very high and the process is extremely rigorous. In Fulbright Student Program, which is prevalent in US, the grant is offered to graduate students and college professionals for one year of study. Fulbright Islamic Civilization Program promotes the study of Muslim people and also facilitates research on Islamic culture. The Fulbright English Teaching Program provides an opportunity for students to teach English language in some other countries.

The Institutes for Educational Development monitors the notable Fulbright Awards offered in Teaching Program. To get integrated and understand the language as well as culture of host country is one of the crucial goals of Fulbright program. However, some budgetary restrictions have entailed education department to revoke some Fulbright Hays program in upcoming years.
